Testimonials

“Natalie’s retreat in the Costa Brava was a real feast for the senses! The region was so stunningly beautiful and our experiences so varied that it almost felt as though I’d visited a couple of different countries.

The Farmhouse was incredible….the perfect blend of old-world authenticity and contemporary design. Starting each day with yoga was a very grounding experience…I think it really helped to get you in a great state of mind (and I don’t practice yoga at home, so it was great for newcomers!)

A short trip to the coast seemed like a world away. Mountains met the bay at Cadaqués…such a picturesque, white-washed fishing village with magnificent views. No wonder Dali chose to live here! We took our own picnic and ate it overlooking the turquoise water.

The Dali museum was an amazing experience. So unique! Like the man himself. I’d call this bucket-list material. I could have spent the whole day just in the jewelry exhibit! Am I the only person who didn’t know that Dali designed jewelry?!

It was such friendly group to be with and Natalie made everyone feel so welcome as did all the Spanish people who were part of our experiences. I would highly recommend this retreat for anyone that wants to relax in nature, feel more in tune with their own body and feelings yet still wants to be inspired by new locations each day and have the wonderful pleasure of delicious local food and wine with lovely people!.”

An Unforgettable Cultural & Culinary Escape!

“When I was first considering this trip, what truly inspired me to come was the chance to support Natalie's passion for creating memorable experiences and also snag the perfect excuse for a much-needed escape. After a stressful year, the idea of an immersive cultural and culinary trip was the best distraction I could have asked for!

Even after getting home, the memories that stick with me most are the feeling of total immersion—from figuring out the local trains to wandering through genuinely ancient, beautiful cities. The entire experience felt rich and authentic, fueled by endless good times.

My favorite activities were the perfect blend of local culture and hands-on fun. The cooking class at the farmhouse was an absolute highlight—getting hands-on and learning how to make Fideo was fantastic, and the local chef was lovely. On the excursion days, the Salvador Dalí Museum in Figueres was mind-blowingly cool; it was truly something to see. But the Finca Bell Lloc winery visit was a hidden gem—that jaw-dropping, epic underground storage and tasting room is something I’ll never forget. And, of course, exploring the medieval stone streets of villages like Peratallada made you feel like you were walking onto a movie set!

I would absolutely recommend this experience to others. It’s the perfect, balanced itinerary that gives you a deep dive into Catalan culture, amazing food, world-class wine, and breathtaking sightseeing. It's a trip that stays with you long after you've unpacked your suitcase!”

“Such a serene location. I was lucky to enjoy blissful moments watching honeybees visit lavender in the beautiful garden, finding toadstools growing in the surrounding woodland, listening to owls hooting outside my bedroom window, watching sunlight dance on the swimming pool and looking at the neighboring misty farmlands through the kitchen half-door as I drank my morning coffee..

Fun and camaraderie were on the menu for the group cooking class one evening, at the farmhouse, with a local chef! I loved that everyone had to pitch in. And, the medieval villages we visited were absolutely beautiful. So well-cared for that they are full of vitality and charm still, centuries on. Bougainvillea arching around ancient stone doorways, quaint cobbled streets and friendly, inviting shops.

The vineyard and winery tour might be one of my most favorite that I’ve experienced. Seeing gold and crimson leaves on the vines for acres was breathtaking. Such a beautiful time of year to see it. Having the place to ourselves made it even more exclusive. The cellars were an architectural marvel. They are almost monastic and spiritual inside and our wine and olive oil tasting outside amongst the Cork oaks was wonderful.”
